Skookum Sound System is an Indigenous Audio-Visual crew, with members living on the Sunshine Coast, and Vancouver BC - Coast Salish Territory. Skookum Collective members include, DJ/Producer Deano (Dean Hunt), Vocalist and Song Carrier - Csetkwe, DJ/Composer Darwin Frost aka Impossible Nothing, and Media Artist/Live Visuals from Amphibian14 (Bracken Hanuse Corlett).

Skookum shows are a multimedia trip, fusing Song, Dance, Maximalism, Moving Images, Mashups, ReMiX and the Deadly boomBap of the H'lulu Drum.

Each member has honed their respective skills individually for years, but the crew came together for the first time in November of 2011, at the W2 for the inaugural Vancouver Indigenous Media Arts Festival (VIMAF). Since that first show they have taken the stage at festivals, clubs, galleries, theatres, and even a Powwow Arbor or two. Plans are in place to take flight, and bring the Skookum Bounce and Live-Visual Frog Lodge to other areas of the globe.
